Renovated in 2023, on the shore of the Maranhão reservoir — comfort was updated inside, while the traditional Alentejo character was kept outside.
Ideal for 4 guests across 2 bedrooms. Inside, you'll find high ceilings, a workspace and a kitchen ready to use — outside, centuries-old olive trees and the quiet typical of inland Alentejo.

During your stay, you have exclusive access to the whole property, except for the upper floor of the house.

We had a wonderful stay at MonteZinho. Super peaceful area, the house is very comfortable and has everything you need. It has direct access to an inlet of the Maranhão reservoir, and a private deck right by the water. Beautiful scenery. André was always very helpful and friendly! We recommend it for a calm family getaway!

We loved our stay at Montezinho and couldn't recommend it more! It's such a beautiful, peaceful place right by the reservoir. We loved being able to simply grab a canoe or a paddleboard and head out onto the water — and having all the equipment ready to use was fantastic. There's also a wonderful shaded area by the water with chairs and a hammock, perfect for relaxing or having a picnic. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. The terrace and the fire pit were a real highlight, the bedding was amazing, and the cool air conditioning was much appreciated! André was the perfect host — genuinely impeccable, very helpful and welcoming, even letting us do a late check-out, which we really appreciated. Such a special place. We had the best time and would come back in a heartbeat. I couldn't recommend Montezinho more highly!

Without a doubt a wonderful space, perfect for resting. The house is impeccably equipped. Lovely surrounding area, especially the outdoor porch. The owner takes great care to provide not only all the necessary information, but is always available to meet our needs. The direct, private access to the reservoir makes the days even more enjoyable. We have every amenity at our disposal. The experience was extremely positive, and the photos fully match the excellent condition of the house.
